The Community English Language Program and Conversation Classes brought to you by Campus and Community (C&C) provides an opportunity for community members to improve their English in many areas and has been a successful part of KAUST for the past ten years.

COMMUNITY ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM

This program provides an opportunity for community members to improve their English in many areas and has been a successful part of KAUST for the past ten years.

English classes are designed as an opportunity for individuals to improve their English.  Taught by experienced teachers, the content focuses on vocabulary, grammar, and conversation as well as speaking, listening, writing, reading, and everyday English.

All levels are welcome, from beginner to proficient.

Schedule and Pricing

  • The price for the session is 1180 SAR including VAT.
  • Classes run in the mornings in Building 9 and each student attends two 90-minute sessions per week for a span of 8 weeks each semester.
  • You will be placed into a Class level - Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced or Proficient.

ENGLISH CONVERSATION CLASSES

Conversation classes are a fun way for people to improve their English in a class setting, with other classmates of similar ability and an experienced teacher providing valuable feedback. Conversation classes are either on a Thursday morning or Monday evening. Please note these classes are not suitable for beginners.  You should be elementary or above to attend these classes.

  • Price is 210 SAR including VAT. 
  • 60-minute classes are held once a week at building 9 or ECC3 for 5 weeks.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Payments must be made by card or cash at the Harbor Sports Club (HSC) before the start of every semester to confirm registration.
  • Student numbers are limited, so register early to ensure your spot
  • No refunds or reductions are given for any missed classes, Classes with less than five people may be combined with another class or cancelled.
