Facilities Housekeeeping

The Facilities Housekeeping Services team delivers professional cleaning internally and externally to all KAUST facilities. We deliver cleaning to international standards for offices, research labs, data centers, schools, KAUST Health, recreational spaces, and the KAUST Inn.

The Housekeeping teams carry out scheduled cleaning tasks to keep KAUST clean and tidy. Additional the teams provide a periodic deep-cleaning program involving targeted tasks, to ensure KAUST is always presented as a showcase university we can all be proud of.

It is a paid for service provided to KAUST residents to help with cleaning activities in their homes.

Our Service Provider MACC deliver residential general cleaning and babysitting services to KAUST residents per Hour-rate charge (prices may vary) displayed below.

What to Expect

For Housekeeping Service: Male or Female cleaner, based on your preference, will arrive to your house with cleaning supplies, vacuum machine and clean mop to clean your kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas.

Babysitting: Trained Female with long experience to make sure of a safe environment to all, Childcare is provided for new-born to teens.

30 minutes interview is offered before booking a slot to meet the Babysitter, she will arrive at your home to answer your questions and meet your little ones and pets.

Laundry Services

Hours of Operation: Daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Pick-up & Delivery: When you drop off your garments before 10 a.m. you will receive it same day before 10 p.m. If you drop off your garments after 10 a.m. you will receive it the next day.

Laundry service

It is providing wash and clean clothes to KAUST residents. It includes washing, drying, folding, and ironing of clothes in addition to clothing alteration and minor tailoring service. The Laundry service handles over 390,000 items per year.

Laundry is also providing service to KAUST-Inn and houses by washing and maintaining adequate, clean and constant supply of linen, window curtains and rugs based on occupancy rate and houses demand.

Laundry service is operated in two depots, one is inside the Tamimi Supermarket and the other one at the Central Laundry building in front of the facilities diner.
