Operations & Maintenance (O&M) are the custodians of KAUST, entrusted to manage and maintain the Campus, Community Facilities and Thuwal Corniche.
Our professional team is charged with the responsibility of ensuring all of the facilities and assets are fully operational and available around the clock to enable the KAUST Community to perform at their full potential; at work, at home, and at play to underpin KAUST as a destination of discovery.
CFM is responsible for providing professional maintenance services to all assets and infrastructure that serve KAUST Facilities including public buildings, external areas and Thuwal Corniche as well as all the residential buildings in the five districts (Island, Harbor, Gardens, Oasis and The Palms).CFM is a quality-oriented organization that is providing all types of maintenance services including but not limited to reactive maintenance as well as planned preventive maintenance.

Academic and Administration Facilities Maintenance (AAFM) is a multidisciplinary professional division that integrates people, place, process, and technology to assure the physical environment's operation, comfort, safety, and efficiency. AAFM provides maintenance services to the campus buildings, external areas, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), civil and FDAS assets, building control, and automation systems, including all of the associated components to provide a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically appealing environment for all KAUSTs Researchers, Students and Staff. AAFM provides Preventive, Predictive & Reactive maintenance services, to ensure professional support to all its clients within the area of responsibility.
