The Safaa Open 2025 is set to take place on January 31 and February 1 at the beautiful Safaa Golf Club in KAUST. This highly anticipated adult golf tournament invites players from across the Kingdom to compete on our pristine course. The event is open to all golfers who hold an Official GHIN Handicap, making it an excellent opportunity for competitive play among golfers of all levels. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TOURNAMENT CATEGORIES

Each category will have Gross and Nett winners. 

  • 0-9 Handicap- Strokeplay format 
  • 10-18 Handicap- Strokeplay format 
  • 19-24 Handicap- Stableford format 
  • Ladies Category- Stableford format 

Tournament Fees: 650 SAR

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY

In partnership with Golf Saudi, KAUST, and MGS, the overall best gross player of the tournament will earn an exclusive spot at the Golf Saudi International Tournament.

The field is limited to 72 players, ensuring an elite and competitive experience.

Thursday, 30 January 2025
Practice Round: Tee times are available throughout the day until 8:00 p.m. Players are encouraged to book in advance to secure their preferred time.
Friday, 31 January 2025
Morning Shotgun Start: 8:00 a.m. - Handicap Categories: 0-9 & 10-18
Afternoon Shotgun Start: 1:30 p.m. - Handicap Category: 19-24, Ladies
Special Offer: Preferred rates at Royal Greens will be available for players wishing to play in the opposite session of their tournament tee time schedule.
Saturday, 1 February 2025
Morning Shotgun Start: 7:30 a.m. | Handicap Category: 18-24, Ladies
Afternoon Shotgun Start: 12:30 p.m. | Handicap Categories: 0-9 & 10-18
Prize Giving Ceremony and Dinner: Time: 6:30 p.m.
