KAUST aims to achieve zero waste to landfill by effectively implementing waste management programs and strategies that encourage elimination, reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting of waste.

We adopt principles of waste management hierarchy, to ensure waste is managed in a way that has the least impact on the environment.  

The Facilities Management team is presently working on the waste management strategy to achieve the Zero Waste to the Landfill goal. More information about how we plan to achieve this goal will be available on this page soon.
