We all have connections to someone who has been affected by breast cancer through either diagnosis themselves or a diagnosis of a loved one.
Did you know that breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women (less than 1% of cancer diagnoses is in men), and every 14 seconds, somewhere in the world, a woman is diagnosed with it?
Building on the previous year’s popularity and success, Campus and Community is bringing to you the third edition of the Run for a Cure to raise awareness and show support for those affected by breast cancer.
As part of the event program, we will hold a one-minute silence to honor and remember those who have lost their lives to breast cancer, to support survivors, and to reflect on the collective strength of our community. This will be done before the warm-up at approximately 6:55 a.m.
