Join us for the KAUST Research Workshop - Greening the Giga: Advancing Sustainability in Saudi Construction, a pivotal event exploring sustainable practices in Saudi giga-projects.

  • Location: Building 19 (Halls 1,2 and 3) and Building 20 (Auditorium), KAUST Campus.

This workshop, led by Professor Sami G. Al-Ghamdi, will bring together government officials, policymakers, industry leaders, global academic experts, private sector partners, and students to discuss innovative methodologies, strategies and policy measures that support the sustainable development of mega-projects and key industries across the Kingdom. Key topics will include Life Cycle Thinking (LCT), carbon management and sustainable construction.

Aligned with the KAUST mission and the theme of "accelerating impact," the event underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to sustainability through visionary giga-projects.
