TKS – in partnership with KAUST sponsors – is excited to be hosting the Saudi Arabia Regional Competition on May 22 and 23, 2025, at the High School pool.

Teams from TKS Elementary, Middle and High School will be competing:

•             SCOUT teams (Elementary)        Thursday, May 22 – 9.00 am – 11.30 am
•             NAVIGATOR teams (Middle)      Friday, May 23 – 8.30 am – 3.30 pm
•             RANGER teams (High)                Friday, May 23 – 8.30 am – 3.30 pm
  

Mate-ROV is an international program offered to school and university students – to inspire and challenge them to solve real-world problems, and to develop the skills of the next generation of marine engineers and ROV pilots.  The Mate-ROV program is currently delivered in more than 20 countries.  Students form companies and design, develop and build an ROV.  The ROV is put through its paces with a number of challenges – at the Regional and World competitions.  This year, the World Championship will be held in Michigan, US in June.  In order to progress to the World Championship, teams must compete (and win) their Regional Competition.
