Save the date for the Annual KAUST triathlon! Prepare for any of the three categories of this year’s version:

• Individual Sprint
• Individual Olympic
• Team Sprint
• Team Olympic -NEW!!!!! A great way to challenge yourself but with a team.

The race involves swimming, cycling and running, moving across the most emblematic locations of KAUST.

Details:

• Date: Friday, December 5
• Time: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
• Distances:
• Sprint: 400m swim, 20 km bike and 5 km run.
• Olympic: 1600m swim, 40 km bike and 10 km run.
• Location: TBC
• Fee: Signup rates will be shared soon.
• Registration: Registration will be open closer to the event. Open to KAUST community and triathlon enthusiasts from outside the community over the age of 16!

To which goal is this event related?

The event is related to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3, which focuses on promoting good health and well-being, and the Saudi Vision 2030 objective to increase public participation in sports and athletic activities.

This event is organized by the Triathlon Committee, made up of dedicated volunteers from the community, Red Sea Cyclists, and the Bricks Student Triathlon Club, with support from Campus and Community (C&C) and Student Life.
