The KAUST community is invited to join us in celebrating the achievements of the 65 interns who have completed the WISER 2026 Summer Internship Program.
Now in its 11th consecutive year, the WISER Summer Internship Program continues to provide meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that prepare emerging talent for the future of work. This year's cohort reflects an exciting evolution of the program, welcoming not only students from The KAUST School (TKS) but also participants from across the Kingdom through new pilot internship tracks, expanding opportunities for talented students to gain professional experience at KAUST.
Over the past four weeks, interns have worked alongside mentors across 30 KAUST departments, contributing to projects in research, innovation, operations, and professional services while developing valuable workplace skills and professional networks.
Join us to explore the interns' projects, meet the talented individuals behind them, and celebrate the mentors and departments who have helped shape the next generation of leaders, innovators, and researchers.

WISER 2026 Summer Internship Program Expo and Closing Ceremony
The morning will begin with the WISER Expo from 9:30–10:30 a.m. in Building 19, Halls 1 and 2, where interns will showcase their projects through interactive ePosters and share the impact of their work alongside mentors from across the University.
The celebration will conclude with the Closing Ceremony from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. in the Building 20 Lobby, recognizing the accomplishments of this year's interns and the departments and mentors who supported their journey.
