Environmental Awareness

Social Responsibility promotes environmental awareness in Thuwal through education and action programs, both via schools and community associations.  Environmental education allows individuals and communities to explore environmental issues, engage in problem solving and take action to improve the environment, thereby providing the skills to make informed and responsible decisions.  Thuwal schools have participated in plastic awareness presentation delivered by KAUST PhD students and recycling workshops organized by TKS students, as well as taking part in Earth Day Activities.
