To help you plan for the holiday, please take note of the following updates to services and activities during Eid. 

Eid Holiday Operating Hours  

During the Eid break, some facilities and services will operate on adjusted schedules, including KAUST Health, transportation, restaurants, retail outlets, pet services and more. See below for details.  

• Campus Diner will operate during the Eid break with regular operating hours. 
• Some food and retail outlets along the University Spine will be closed during the holiday. 

• Emergency Services (911) and the Emergency Department will remain open 24/7. 
• The KAUST Health Clinic and the Family and Child Support Center (FCSC) will be closed from Thursday, March 19, and will reopen on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. 

• There will be no work haul, Makkah, Madinah, or Jeddah medical buses operating during the Eid holiday.  
• The Bus Services webpage will be updated before the break with a revised schedule. 

Complimentary airport shuttle buses to Terminal 1 will be available from Wednesday, March 18 to Saturday, March 21, 2026. Learn More   

• Kanoo Leisure Travel Office will be closed during the Eid break, from March 19 to March 29.  
• Corporate travel services will remain available 24/7 and can be reached at travel@kaust.edu.sa. 

• Al-Hamra Pet Retreat Center will be closed from March 19 to March 21 and will reopen on March 22. 
• Pet boarding services will remain open 24/7 throughout the holiday.

• Bowling Alley: Sunday, March 22 -1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 
• Climbing Wall: Monday, March 23 - 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
• South Beach: Open to families Sunday, March 22 - 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
